Born and raised in ‘t Gooi. Then studied law at VU (master’s in Intellectual Property). Trained as a lawyer on the Zuidas, where he made a flying start at the international firm DLA Piper in 2018. He continued his career as an associate attorney at the American firm Greenberg Traurig. In the summer of 2023, he made the conscious choice to join De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten.
Thomas is part of DKVA’s Civil section. He is a specialist in the field of intellectual property as well as contract law and obligations law. He is approachable and meticulous. He enjoys assisting creative entrepreneurs and individuals with his ‘legal toolbox’. Starting a project together, embracing an adventure. He goes the extra mile for his clients and always looks beyond the legal aspects. Feel free to contact him, especially for an interesting trademark or copyright infringement case.
In his free time, Thomas mostly enjoys all the things Amsterdam has to offer. He also enjoys listening to podcasts or reading a book. He exercises weekly and has been using drumming as his outlet for nearly thirty years. Fortunately for his Amsterdam neighbors, he does so in a well-isolated room and on an electronic drum kit. Recently, he and his group of friends purchased a boat for the Amsterdam canals. It already sank (and was salvaged once more). He plans to further develop his skiing skills near the office.
