Born and raised in Almere. Has returned there after living elsewhere. In the meantime, she studied Law at the University of Utrecht. After an exchange in New Orleans, she knew she wanted to specialize in administrative and environmental law. So it happened. Employed at De Koning Vergouwen since 2019.
Emma specializes in general administrative law and environmental law, with a particular focus on spatial planning. Advises both individuals and companies. Analytical, accurate and to the point. Is concerned with environmental permits and building permits, among other things. Effortlessly figures out the most complicated zoning plan. Guides her clients through mazes of municipal regulations with ease. Litigates if necessary, but prefers to advise on possible ways to make new initiatives happen. Making the impossible possible is what she does with great dedication. Creative and proactive. Emma is a member of the Association for Administrative Law (VAR) and the Association for Environmental Law (VMR). Within the office, Emma is part of the DKVhorecA team.
In her spare time Emma can be found on horseback or on the couch with a good book. She is also a true restaurant lover and therefore happily assists hospitality entrepreneurs.
